My baby is getting big
Do ya'll mommies remember the days you had your babies or baby? I don't know about ya'll but I certainly do, like it was yesterday!
I had the easiest pregnancy ever, no lie! Well, besides the constant vomiting for nine months.... Lol! Wanna hear my labor story...? I'm gonna tell you anyway. So everyday while I was pregnant I'd take a 2 hour nap in the afternoon and then I'd get up and finish cleaning whatever I didn't finish in the AM. I think you get where I'm going with this... One day I took a nap, just like I always do and then I go up to go clean and as soon as I got up..... my WATER BROKE! Talk about perfect timing! I was so scared and I confused. I had no clue what was going on, cause it was just like a huge gush of warm water flowing out of my cooch. It was a strange feeling. I looked at Jarrod and said "I think my water broke". He didn't know what to do besides call his mom. Anyways, we went to the hospital and blah blah blah, 7 hours later I had my son. I couldn't hold him though. He was brought to the NICU right away. For 2 weeks I couldn't hold my newborn baby or smell his head. 2 weeks, I spent looking at him through glass with needles and all sorts of wires all over him. I don't really want to go into detail as to why he was in the NICU, but he was struggling. He's a fighter, my baby was so strong.
Now, he will be 2 in January. Time really does fly. He is definitely the smartest toddler I know. I am so proud of how far he has come. He amazes me everyday, and I am totally not looking forward to those terrible 2's! 😕 So if ANYBODY has any tips on how to deal with them, let me know! Please!!!!
